WELCOME TO THE NEW ZEALAND ITALIAN FESTIVAL!

The "New Zealand Italian Festival" started in Wellington to celebrate Italian lifestyle. Showcasing Italian food, wines and products (from fashion items to vehicles to interior design), the Festival also includes Cooking Demonstrations, Fashion Shows, Live Italian Music, and more, to emphasize every aspect of Italian lifestyle. Thousands of people participated to the Italian Festival at the Westpac Stadium in 2010 and 2011 and marked its enormous success as a colourful and vibrant event demonstrating how to live "A Day in Italy".

In 2011, the New Zealand Italian Festival landed on the South Island for the first time and took place in Nelson on 17-18 September at the Air Nelson Hangar, as part of the region's welcome to the Italian Rugby team.

The 2011 Wellington Festival took place at the Westpac Stadium on 6 November, a sunny Sunday which saw a huge success of the Festival once again, showcasing Italian goods, hosting the Italian Flag Wavers, and featuring the Long Table Lunch.

Both events provided and exclusive experience and recreated a vibrant, colourful, authentic Italian atmosphere.
